Garage Guide

What kind of garage flooring do you recommend?

I want to cover my garage floor. What's the best product to use. I dont want to pay out the nose, but I do want it to look good and last. Both of my cars are in good shape meaning there's no oil leaks. Not at this time anyways.

  1. CEMENT
  2. CEMENT GOD BLESS
  3. concrete
  4. try apoxy...my sister and husband did it themselves.
  5. I had my garage floor painted with a coloured sealer that matches the driveway colour. Everything just wipes off. Cost me $1500.00 to get a concretor to do the triple garage.
  6. Concrete, with a liquid sealer applied before using.
  7. Check your local hard ware store, most of the time they have a good pain product that will over well and have some non slip additive that will keep people from falling as well as easy to clean in case of spill.
  8. cement or rosewood parquet.
  9. What’s with the cement answers? I bet you already have cement, and are just wondering what to do to cover it. So go to the hardware store and get a garage floor epoxy kit it looks good and resists things like moisture oil, and gas. Read the instructions you can only cover so much at a time.
  10. I'd seen a show on tv about a garage that was redone with a product called "Concrete Solutions", and although it was a five-step process, it looked excellent to me. I didn't do my garage, but we had a community center with a cement floor that badly needed redoing. We hired a firm to come in and do the place, and it came out terrifically well done. It'll never have to be done again, and it resists just about anything that's done to it and comes up still looking great. To get an idea about it, see the page at the below link. Good luck.
  11. Astroturf... pull the vehicles out onto the driveway and practise your golf/putting on rainy days !
  12. go to CTI-corp.com. It is a concrete covering, very durable with patterns. looks great, great warranty. we love it.
  13. 1 dollar a sq foot for vinyl interlocking thick padded oil resistant tile at the below website
