Possum in my garage ceiling, HELP!?
Somehow a possum got into the ceiling of our garage. It appears that it crawled onto a large storage cabinet and then into the insulation (there is only insulation -- no dry wall as its only partially finished). We just moved to the "country," so we didn't think this would be a problem. It keeps knocking out insulation and going through all our stuff! What can we do? I think we can borrow a trap tomorrow animal control, but I'm afraid its made its way into the ceiling of the house & I don't know what to do! PS- He is hiding so unfortunately chasing him out isn't an option. We don't have a gun, either.

- lure him out with food, they love to eat
- possum have huge claws and sharp teeth if your gonna live in the country your gonna have to learn to administer instant lead poisoning 22 caliber should do it
- Use dry cat food in bowel to lure him out of ceiling.Then chase him out with broom,you may have to whack him a few times to get him moving and he may hiss at you. He is afraid of you!
